  • The tracks Crawling Up and Be mark the first official releases of SALTZ, carrying deep personal significance as they represent three years of learning, growth, and artistic dedication. Special thanks go to Arthur Achtziger, whose knowledge and teachings were a valuable part of this journey.

    Be reflects the release of a fixed identity – letting go of external expectations and roles. It is a return to being instead of functioning, creating from inner truth rather than obligation. The track opens space for presence, softness, and authenticity — a moment of freedom where the self simply is.

    Crawling Up symbolizes steady movement through highs and lows – patient, grounded, and compassionate. Both tracks carry the intention to share love, creativity, and uplifting energy with the world.

    SALTZ expresses gratitude to Daniel Jaeger for the mastering of Crawling Up and Manuel Ortuzar for the mastering of Be, and to the remix artists Avocado, Max & Moritz, Oblomov & Wires.

    A heartfelt thank you goes to Odonien Records for giving these tracks the opportunity to be heard worldwide.

  • It has always been the beat that fascinated Marberg the most.
    It's no surprise that he started playing drums at an early age. Navigating through diverse musical styles, he eventually gravitated towards the genre defining four to the floor beats of groovy and hypnotic techno. It's that perpetual kick drum that the Cologne based artist finds inspiring, as it opens up layers of different elements, melodies, atmospheres, allowing for a deeper examination and understanding of the product itself. After releases on Devotion Records and Apriori Records the Snake Ep is now the latest proof of his skillset.
    Known for his innovative approach to sound and production, Juri Heidemann´s remix adds an extra layer of complexity to Marberg's already captivating work, offering a fresh perspective on the hypnotic techno experience.

  • About the artist - Bach & Blüte

    These two Odonien originals have been united for over one decade now, channeling their contrasting personas to create unusual & effective sound. An open minded creative approach meets quality sound design, resulting from a sound engineering background, years of club promoting and countless crowd pleasing DJ gigs. Like a well-oiled machine, the two stategists shift gears and operate over a bizarre wave of thrust and catharsis.

    Wintergarten

    Track 1 "Bei Nacht" (At Night) has a dark & ominous electric vibe. Imagine excessively dancing in the eye of a thunderstorm, feeling connected to nature but also being a little bit scared that it might be your last dance.
    Track 2 "Am Tag Danach" (The Day After) is a deep, atmospheric track with an emphasis on moody sound effects, moments of beauty and clarity alternate with suspense evoking basslines while steady percussive elements guide the way.

  • The cologne based duo Hyeena are making their debut on Odonien Records with two energetic club tracks that won’t give you no chance to calm down on the dance-floor.

    Raw kicks, breaks, electro, trance and gabber inspired sounds from their analog machines have been transformed to a Megatron ready to take control over bodies and minds.

    Heartbreaker seduces with trance infected emotive synths and the sweetness of happy hardcore leaning voice samples and will make you surrender your body to the steadiness of the rhythmic bassline.

    Safe word is a electro trance hybrid applying more pressure, constantly increasing your pain and pleasure with evolving arp synths and bass lines, playful breaks and lashing out percussion sequences. You’ll be asking to be spanked a little harder with those 155 bpm.

    The third track is provided by cologne based Irina C. as a counterpart to Hyeenas dancefloor oriented rhythmic music. She composed the soundtrack for her own imaginary 90s sci-fi b-movie „Armageddon im Weltall“.
